Forests present many possible options for mitigation of global environmental issues while achieving a sustainable society. In our division, we are engaged in a diverse array of research, education and training activities in order to address the following overall missions.

- Technologically advanced uses of forest-derived biological resources
As a graduate student one can learn multiple functions of forests and wood as the sustainable natural resource. We look forward to motivated students interested in helping build a sustainable society.
